Am a star I don't want to play as a substitute - Chelsea star admits he has earned his place in the club and deserve to be in the starting XI against Manchester city.

Chelsea are right back into the thick of the action this Thursday night as they travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the mid-week Premier League match.

Both sides have struggled with inconsistency this season but it is Chelsea who are in a much more comfortable spot in the league heading for Champions League qualification once again. Things are looking a little more bleak for United right now after some poor form. They’ve only won one of their last six matches and facing Chelsea will be a tough task.

It”l be far from easy for Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel as well though, and Tuchel will need all his players on their game to come through with a win at a tough stadium to go to.

I believe that Romelu Lukaku and Christian Pulisic did enough in the last match to warrant a start, and the form of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in the last couple of matches have dipped, so I think they come out. Antonio Rudiger and Reece James are back training so they get the nod if deemed fit enough.
